TheBanditSociety.com is a website that was started in 2006 by Michael Neumann, who at the time was a senior in high school. Originally Michael started a website similar to thebanditsociety.com in 2005 under the title badbanditstudios.com. After realizing he didn't like the name and wanted to take his website further he decided to make the switch. Over the years thebanditsociety.com has seen many different faces. It started off with a green and black colored website designed to host his games and animations. After a year of that he decided he wanted to move the website to be driven by PHP and MySQL, so to acknowledge the new changed he changed the design to blue, dark grey, and black. From then on the site started to collect members and fans as well as a place for them to host their own flash content and art submissions. Michael was happy with his website, but feeling like he needed more he decided to keep working on it, trying to make it different then all the other websites like his. It wasn't until the start of his Junior year in college that he started a whole new redesign, this time keeping some themes from the previous version but changing the layout and content management completely. Up to date, the site now is where (or at least close) to where Michael wants it to be. The idea behind the site is to provide not only a place where beggining through advanced flash developers can communicate with one another and learn how to program flash, but to also serve as a developer blog for himself. Constantly working on the site, Michael's goal is to one day have a site that people talk to each other about in flash forums, to provide a site where people can go when they need a smart flash developer community.
Michael Neumann is a flash developer who loves to make flash games. He also has done a lot of work with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and Actionscript to be able to hold the latest web programming knowledge needed to be a cut above the rest. If you don't know, Michael is the only person who works on this website, actually Michael is writing this right now, and yes it is weird talking about yourself in a third person perspective. Other than dreaming to be a flash developer and site creator that holds a top place on the web, Michael likes to do the following things: Snowboard, play soccer and tennis, play the electric guitar, drink snapple iced tea, listen to Indie music, graphic design, travel, and be awesome.
